The hotel has 24 bedrooms. The season runs from mid April through to early October, and outside these dates operates on a restricted basis. Guests can choose between wood cabins in the grounds and inside rooms, all are ground floor, en suite with showers and equally popular. Much has changed since the hotel opened in 1939 as storm clouds gathered over Europe, but the quest to provide quality, affordable accommodation in this beautiful remote location endures.
